Cold extraction of the juice.

To obtain our delicious cold-pressed organic fruit and vegetable juices, we use a hydraulic press that extracts vitamins and nutrients while preserving them.

In liquid form, the micronutrients in fruits and vegetables are better absorbed by our bodies because the fibres have been removed. #Victory 👍

The use of a hydraulic press allows the juice to be extracted cold and thus to extract 5 X more nutrients than other conventional extractors! "Cold-pressed" means that the juices are neither heated, nor hot pasteurized, nor treated with chemical additives. Extracted by pressure only, our juices retain all the nutrients of fruits and vegetables... to the delight of your body and taste buds!

Organic and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Each bottle of juice contains up to 2 lbs of organic fresh fruits and vegetables 😳

Why organic? Dose wants to offer the best of what Mother Nature has created, the least transformed possible. The quality of the raw materials guarantees the quality of the juices. That's why we choose fresh organic fruits and vegetables and nothing else - they are fruits and vegetables with no or minimal exposure to toxic and chemical pesticides.

Choosing organic fruits and vegetables allows us to put your health first and allows you to consume our juices without worry 🙏

Treat yourself to an option without pesticides, additives, preservatives or added sugar but rather with a preserved nutrient profile.

A real DOSE of health, that's what you'll find in our juices!

Fresh? Always. However, since we use fresh produce, the colour and taste of fruits and vegetables, and therefore juices, can vary according to the seasons. The separation of juices is also natural since we do not add any homogenizing agents. So remember to mix the juices well before drinking them.

Juice preservation

To preserve our juices, we use high pressures also called HHPP (High Hydrostatic Pressure Process).

"Not quite clear?"

This means that, after each production, our juices are immediately put into a large pool of water to which thousands of pounds of pressure are applied for a few seconds.

It's as if the juices were brought to the bottom of an ocean 60 km deep!😳🌊

This process has many advantages:

1. Fresh juices with a delicious taste

The high pressure preserves the freshness of the fruits and vegetables providing a delicious taste!

2. Preserved nutrients

Heat destroys the vitamins and enzymes naturally present in juices. With this heat-less process, you will get plenty of nutrients from every sip.

3. Longer service life

Our juices can be stored for up to 45 days sealed and refrigerated at any time, without any preservatives or heat processes. Once opened, they can be consumed in 3 days, but we recommend that you drink them as soon as possible to maximize your nutrient intake.

4. Pathogens eliminated

HHPP prevents the activity of dangerous pathogens and microorganisms. Our juices can therefore be consumed by children and pregnant women.

2. Why are DOSE juices good for you?

1. General well-being

Because the fruits and vegetables in DOSE juices are organic, the risk of consuming pesticides is reduced or even eliminated. Research has shown that pesticides can create chronic health complications in children, birth defects, asthma and even some cancers🚫 In addition, the concentration of micronutrients is not overshadowed by toxic products, so you can feel good about yourself. Micronutrients are natural substances (vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, enzymes) essential for optimal health.

2. Better digestion

In the form of juice, fruits and vegetables are much more easily assimilated and require almost no digestive effort. Thanks to our cold extraction processes, insoluble fibres naturally contained in plants are eliminated. Fibre is very useful to the body, but too much of it can slow down digestion and nutrient absorption.

3. Greater variety of nutrients

Fruits are naturally rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, but also in sugar. We have focused on vegetables to offer you juices with balanced tastes and nutritional values. Most people eat a lot of fruit, but neglect vegetables, not always knowing how to prepare them. Our juices are filled with nutrients from fruits and, above all, vegetables. Eat your fruits and drink your vegetables ✌️

4. More time for you!

Gone are the days when you had to squeeze your own juices, buy the many vegetables and fruits to create them yourself and, the most unpleasant part, wash the dishes afterwards. We have squeezed, bottled and sealed our juices to save you time. Open the fridge, take a bottle and drink it, when you get up, at lunchtime, as a snack... When and where you want: a quick and healthy dose.

5. A delicious addition

Consuming DOSE juices daily instead of coffee, as a snack or as part of a cure will allow you to include more fruits and vegetables in your diet. It is a simple and tasty way to improve your eating habits.

3. Which cleanse is made for you?

What is a juice cleanse?

A cleanse of cold-pressed organic juices helps your body to rebalance itself by naturally removing accumulated toxins. Since the energy level usually devoted to digestion is saved during a cleanse, the body can finally clean itself from the inside and regenerate itself.

The juices are full of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and nutrients. A cleanse is about giving your body a break so that it can focus on the essential: inner and outer well-being.💆

Why opt for a cleanse?

> You are more irritable and you get angry more quickly

> You have digestive problems (constipation, diarrhea, bloating)

> You have skin problems (dry skin, flaking, itching, impurities)

> You feel that your immune system is weakened

> You've been overdoing it lately

> You want to opt for a healthier diet and need a boost

> You consume a lot of food supplements but now want to take a more natural approach

> You wish to offer your system a break.

When is it right to opt for a cleanse?

If your body has sent you some of the signals listed above, it is time for a cleanse. We recommend choosing a time when you can stay at home, ideally a weekend, to avoid work stress. During the cleanse, you may feel a slight fatigue, which is not ideal when you're caught up with a couple of busy days.

Are you at the growing stage, pregnant or breastfeeding? We do not recommend a cleanse.

Cold-pressed juices, your new health habit.

In our daily lives, lack of time and our cravings for junk food sometimes take over the quality of our eating habits... no one is perfect 😉 The most important thing is to want to change these habits, and guess what? juices can help you.

Changing your lifestyle is not done by shouting "SCISSORS! ✂️" Starting your adventure in the world of cold-pressed juices with a cleanse is often difficult, but it may be the drastic method that will finally help you change your lifestyle!

To start, you can gradually incorporate juices into your diet: in the morning before breakfast, as a substitute for coffee, in the afternoon when you feel low energy or simply to please your taste buds and your health.

By drinking juices every day, you will notice the benefits they bring to your body. It will ask for more and you will be ready to take up the challenge of a cleanse!

After a cleanse, it is recommended to continue drinking one juice a day to prolong the benefits of your detox.

What are toxins?

Toxins are substances present in our diet as additives and preservatives in our environment.

Excessive consumption of processed foods, drinking water, etc. contribute to the increase in toxins. The liver, kidneys and lungs eliminate toxins, but the more toxins there are, the harder it will be to eliminate them and the more energy your body will need to do so.

An accumulation of toxins results in:

  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Nervousness, sleep disorders
  • Pimples or redness

The elimination of toxins.

The cleanse is an essential ally for effective toxin elimination 🛁

● The micronutrients naturally contained in juices boost the organs responsible for eliminating toxins

● The energy saved by bypassing digestion can be used by the body to get rid of accumulated harmful toxins

Hydration thanks to juices and a high consumption of water will facilitate the purification of our body

During the toxin removal process, you may experience some discomfort (diarrhea, nausea, headaches). Don't worry, it's natural and it shows that the cleanse works and that your body is eliminating toxins.

4. What are the health benefits of a juice cleanse?

The benefits of a cleanse on your vitality, balance and well-being are many.

1. Better shape

Thanks to the micronutrients provided by juices, your body will be able to function at 100% and thus give you the best of what it has to offer you.

2. Limit energy losses

Digestion, the brain and the liver are the biggest consumers of energy. By cutting out on your digestion, the energy can focus on your brain and cell regeneration. It is the foods we consume that provide the energy we need to stay functional throughout the day. Offering quality foods to your body means giving it the best fuel to function.

3. A boosted metabolism

What we call metabolism is the set of chemical reactions that cells establish between themselves. To achieve them, they need nutrients (carbohydrates, fats and proteins), but also micronutrients. These substances, even in very small quantities, play a major role in metabolism. Our juice selection with various recipes provides a high concentration of antioxidants, vitamins (C, A, K, E), minerals (calcium, potassium, magnesium...), and enzymes that promote proper cellular functioning.

4. A strengthened Immune system

A detoxified and strengthened system will be more effective in fighting bacterial and viral attacks.

5. Glowing skin and sublimated hair

By limiting the energy consumed during digestion and providing many micronutrients, the cure allows you to allocate more time and provide your body with a significant amount of vitamins to regenerate your skin cells and shine your hair.

6. Lighten up

During the cure, digestion is easier and your transit is regulated. The result: less bloating and a feeling of lightness.

7. Healthier cravings

The more fruits and vegetables you eat, the more you will crave for freshness. They are healthy foods with various flavours and a very interesting nutrient profile. You can say goodbye to your sugar and fat cravings and welcome with open arms your new cravings for cucumber, celery and spinach... quite possibly in the form of fresh juice. 🥒

8. A small weight loss

Therapies are not designed to lose weight, so this should not be your motivation to start one. However, it may happen! If you want this weight loss to be sustainable, it is essential to maintain a very healthy diet and lifestyle ⚖️

9. A positive attitude

As the saying goes, "a healthy mind in a healthy body", doing good to your body will do good to your morale. This renewed energy will not only be a plus for your body... you will also feel more relaxed and serene.

10. Self confidence

Not everyone can succeed in following a cleanse. You can be proud of yourself!

5. Our advice to make your cleanse a success

Be well prepared

That's it! That's it! You have made the decision to take control of your health and take care of yourself.

Once the first step has been validated, it is now time to move on to the serious business: preparation. A good preparation will increase the effectiveness of the cleanse. Your body will be ready to refuel itself with nutrients and eliminate toxins.

Two or three days before your cleanse, gradually start to pull out the following from your diet:

  • Processed foods containing additives, preservatives and chemicals, and saturated fatty acids. As a general rule: if you can't pronounce it, abstain from it. 🙅
  • Caffeine. You can drink a herbal tea, but you will need to take a break from your favorite lattes.
  • Alcohol, even that famous glass of wine recommended by the doctor.
  • Products of animal origin: eggs, dairy products, meat. Go for fish instead.

Replace them with:

  • Mono-unsaturated and poly-unsaturated fats (omega 3 and omega 6) found in vegetable olive and canola oils, flax seeds, avocados and nuts. Salmon and sardines are also very good sources of poly-unsaturated fat.

  • Raw fruits and vegetables in the form of salads (with lemon juice and olive oil as seasoning), steamed or in soups. Consuming them raw will preserve the vitamins.

Hydrate yourself

Water is essential to our body, because it makes up 70% of our body. Our body needs it for its proper functioning since water allows cellular exchanges, enzyme activity, skin hydration, digestion - by producing digestive juices and hydrating the mucous membranes of the digestive tract - and the elimination of toxins. We need to ingest at least 2.5 L of water per day to meet all these needs, but we often do not drink enough. Let's fix it!

Here are some tips for optimal hydration:

  • Drink 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day
  • Consume more fruits and vegetables that are rich in water
  • Start your day with warm water and lemon juice. If the water is too hot, it will destroy the vitamins and, if it is too cold, it will limit their absorption. The acid taste of lemon and its richness in vitamin C will give you a boost to face your day.
  • Drink herbal teas: chamomile, mint, thyme... there are many flavours with many virtues.
  • During the cleanse, after each juice, fill half the bottle with water so you don't forget to hydrate.

Listen to your body

This is the most important advice we want to give you!

  • It is normal to be hungry during the cleanse. Don't deprive yourself if you feel the need to eat. Raw almonds, fruits and vegetables will allow you to satisfy your cravings without breaking the detox. Not everyone can afford not to eat during a cleanse.
  • Reduce your exercises or training routines. We encourage you to move, but in moderation so as not to rush your body. No crossfit, no marathon please😂
  • Sleep the number of hours you need each night. Feel free to take naps.
  • Book some time for yourself: massage, sauna, hot baths... treat yourself to moments of relaxation. You deserve them, we're sure about that!

Keep these healthy habits

Now that you have given your body a glimpse of a diet rich in vitamins and full of life, listen to it and encourage your new healthy cravings.

  • For the first few days, choose a diet similar to the one you followed during the pre-cleanse: fruit, vegetables, nuts, vegetable proteins.
  • Gradually, reintegrate meat, dairy products, eggs, etc. Fish and chicken are easier to reintegrate than red meat.
  • You can maintain your new level of health by drinking cold-pressed juices every day. This is the best way to ensure your intake of nutrients and vitamins. 🙌

6. The virtues of the super-foods in your cleanse

Our goal is to make you eat more raw fruits and vegetables by focusing on the vegetables that we too often tend to forget.

It has been proven that eating 8 to 10 servings of fruits and vegetables is beneficial to your health, but only 30% of the Canadian population does consume 5 servings per day.

A 300 ml bottle of DOSE juice is a convenient and refreshing way to consume 2.5 servings of fruits and vegetables.

In our juices, we use up to 2 lbs of organic fruits and vegetables, including several super-foods with recognized benefits. All our ingredients are carefully selected to offer you juices that are both tasty and healthy. You can also incorporate all these foods into your daily diet to replenish essential nutrients.

Vegetables

At DOSE, we want to share our motto with you "Drink your vegetables! »

Less sweet than fruit juices alone but just as delicious, several types of juices made by mixing vegetables and fruits have been making our customers happy for a long time. We bet that they will delight your taste buds and boost your energy, too!

Beetroot

This root vegetable has antioxidant properties and contains a little-known trace element: rubidium, which promotes digestion. Beetroot is considered a blood reconstituent and promotes muscle oxygenation, which contributes to the improvement of sporting performance.

Carrot

Carrots are a vegetable appreciated by everyone for their sweet taste, which blends perfectly into many recipes. It owes its orange colour to an antioxidant substance also called carotene that improves our vision and skin. A source of vitamin C and mineral salts (potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron), it helps to regulate intestinal transit.

Celery

Low in calories, but rich in vitamins A, B and C, celery is full of nutrients that are essential to stay in shape. Celery is diuretic, i. e. it eliminates toxins present in the body and is particularly indicated for cleaning the intestines during a cleanse.

Curly kale

Curly kale, also known as kale, is a source of fibre, vitamins and antioxidants. It is a superfood, because it provides more vitamins than the recommended doses. In 100 grams of fresh leaves, you have 512% of the daily vitamin A requirements and 200% of the recommended vitamin C intake. The 40 flavonoids in its composition are antioxidants that strengthen the immune system. It is also very rich in potassium, calcium and vitamin K, which help to strengthen bones and teeth.

Cucumber

Cucumber is appreciated for its refreshing, blood depurative, diuretic and remineralizing properties. It is low in calories and a source of vitamins that contributes to our daily energy.

Spinach

Known for its high iron content (Thank you Mr. Popeye!💪), spinach is also rich in folic acid, magnesium, manganese, vitamin A, K and B6. It also contains a large amount of antioxidants that protect against cardiovascular disease and age-related diseases. To increase iron absorption, it is recommended to eat spinach with foods rich in vitamin C such as lemon.

Other superfoods

Turmeric

Turmeric, known as Indian saffron, is a superfood that has long been appreciated in India and China for its many medicinal properties. It has traditionally been used as a food additive to treat digestive disorders, relieve inflammatory or skin diseases. A powerful antioxidant, it helps protect the body's cells and can prevent tissue aging.

Ginger

Ginger is a root renowned for its aphrodisiac properties that awakens our taste buds and our body. What is less well known is its antibacterial and antiviral effect, which stimulates the digestive and immune systems. It can reduce fever, protect the liver and fight nausea and digestive disorders. Ginger boosts your body and your morale!

Chia seeds

Chia seeds are naturally rich in "good fats" omega-3 and omega-6. A source of vitamin B9, calcium, antioxidants, proteins and fibres, it is a small food with super-powers that help your transit.

Flaxseed

The flaxseed is a small annual plant whose seeds have been harvested for thousands of years. It is a source of fibre, protein and omega-3, so it is a very interesting food to include in your diet in the form of seeds or oil. The soluble fibre contained in flaxseed promotes a sense of satiety and supports the work of the entire digestive system.

Fruits

Fruits are rich in vitamins and micronutrients, but are also delicious and refreshing, making them perfect healthy allies. In our juices, they bring in a touch of natural sugars and many benefits.

Pineapple:

With its naturally sweet taste, pineapple is fresh, refreshing and low in calories. It can be consumed without moderation! It contains bromelain which breaks down proteins and promotes digestion. This enzyme also has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling and help to eliminate damaged tissues.

Avocado

Avocado is a fruit rich in fibre, promoting digestion, but is also known for its richness in good fats - unsaturated fatty acids that prevent cardiovascular risks and lower bad cholesterol. The phytosterols it contains reduce LDL, called bad cholesterol, and its oleic acid increases good cholesterol, HDL.

Banana

Bananas are a healthy food because they contain up to 10 mg of dopamine, a chemical substance present in our brains that causes feelings of joy. It is also a source of tryptophan, a protein that stimulates the production of serotonin, the mood regulating hormone. Rich in potassium and magnesium, it facilitates muscle work and helps to fight high blood pressure.

Goji berries

Goji berries are often used in natural medicines for their virtues. They contain many antioxidants, amino acids good for hair and nail growth, essential B vitamins for the immune system and beta-sitosterol to fight inflammation. As a cleanse, they are good detox foods as they eliminate toxins from your body.

Lemon and Lime

Their acidulous taste is perfect to bring a touch of freshness. Very rich in vitamin C, lemon and lime help strengthen our immune system, destroy free radicals that cause aging, pain and inflammation, and even help prevent cardiovascular disease. Both lemon and lime contain vitamin B6, potassium, folic acid and limonene, known for its anti-cancer and detoxifying properties.

Mangoes

Vitamin C in mangoes promotes the production of collagen, which helps the skin stay firm and has a protective effect against UV rays for healthier skin. It also contains polyphenols, which have anti-cancer properties (breast and colon).

Apples

This fruit which needs no further introduction is rich in anthocyanins, natural antioxidants. They help protect against certain cancers, lower bad cholesterol levels, prevent blood clots and strengthen natural defences. As the saying goes, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away forever"

The DOSE cleanses

When you start a cleanse, you don't always know where to start. There are many of them and it is sometimes difficult to understand the differences.

At DOSE, we have chosen to distinguish them according to their level of difficulty. The more vegetables in the cleanse, the more difficult it will be, especially if you are not used to consuming juices with lots of vegetables.

The beginner's cleanse- "Purity" is the most fruity cleanse. We have selected for you our most popular juices with complete nutrient profiles to offer you this juice cleanse. We therefore suggest that people who are starting to drink juices or those who have never taken a cleanse should start with "Purity", which is an introductory cure. It will make you discover all the benefits of a detox of organic cold-pressed juices.

The intermediate cleanse- "Energy" has been created to be the perfect balance between fruits and vegetables, smoothies and cold-pressed juices. It is ideal if you like to discover several flavours. Carrots, beetroots, green vegetables; you will have a wide selection of cold-pressed juices and smoothies made from these vegetables that will provide you with everything you need for a successful detox.

The expert cleanse- "Restore" Iis our green cleanse. It contains only cold-pressed organic green juices and smoothies. Yogi is our juice designed for real green lovers, because it contains only green vegetables with a touch of lemon and ginger. It is not for nothing that it is nicknamed the experts' green juice. 👀 By taking up the challenge of our most difficult cleanse, you will immediately notice the difference: radiant skin, shiny hair, an energy boost and green cravings!

The duration of the cleanse

We suggest that you try our cleanses for 1, 3, 5 or 7 days. The longer the cleanse, the deeper the detox will be achieved.

We advise you to start your adventure in the wonderful world of cold-pressed juices gradually. Start with a cleanse of 1 to 3 days to avoid brushing your body and gently discover the benefits of the cleanse.

You have already undergone a cleanse, you already have a healthy diet and you are not afraid to take on the challenge? So get started and take a 5 to 7-day cleanse.

How often should you take a cleanse?

That's for you to decide. You can start a cleanse at each change of season, when you feel a decrease in energy or when you’ve ate unhealthy for a long time, the most important thing is to do it at a time that suits you. Our hectic lifestyle and the accompanying stress are reasons to take breaks. Whether you do a 5-day cleanse every 3 months or a one-day cleanse every two weeks, your body will thank you and you will see the difference in your energy levels and overall well-being.

Our juices are delivered in a single delivery, stored in a cool place at all times. They have a life span of at least 20 days. You can therefore do the cleanse as soon as you receive the juices or do on several non-consecutive days if you are constrained by routine life, the best being of course to fully embark on the challenge... but we are aware that this is not always an easy task.

If you have any questions or need advice on anything, we will be happy to talk it out. Call one of our advisors at 844-424-3673 or send an email to info@dosejuice.com.

8. Maintaining the effects of your cleanse

After your cleanse, you should not fall back to your bad habits. You have succeeded in the most difficult part, this is not the time to stop!

Tips for better digestion:

  • Take the time to eat and enjoy your meals. 20 minutes is the minimum time you must allow for each meal. Although we are aware that this is often the time we are short of, we forget about lunches taken in the blink of an eye and take an essential break to appreciate and reap the full benefits of each of the foods.
  • Eat raw vegetables first at mealtimes. They contain many enzymes that will help to better digest the food that follows.
  • For a meal, choose only one type of protein: eggs, meat, fish or vegetable proteins (which contain fibre and are more digestible), but avoid mixing them.
  • Eat high-fibre foods such as fruits and vegetables, seeds and legumes.
  • Balance servings by focusing on protein or carbohydrates, but not both. Combine a small portion of rice with a large portion of fish or vice versa.
  • Eat the fruit outside of meals: 30 minutes before or 3 hours after. If they are not digested quickly they can ferment and thus produce gases and other acids that will prevent the digestion of other foods.
  • Have dinner at least 2 hours before bedtime. Digestion while lying down and at sleep time is not ideal.

Cold-pressed juices

After your treatment, we advise you to continue to integrate into your daily life the cold-pressed organic juices that will provide you with your DOSE of vitamins and nutrients. Drink one juice a day and preserve the beneficial effect of detoxification.
